Meet Dr. Mike Imboden

Experience

Dr. Imboden, or “Dr. Mike” as he is most commonly known, has been practicing dentistry in Texas for over 20 years. He grew up in rural Oklahoma and is a graduate of The University of Oklahoma and The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. He opened a dental practice in McKinney, TX in 2002. In 2011, he was voted “Best Dentist” by McKinney Living Magazine. In 2014, after successfully growing that practice, he sold it in order to pursue other interests in dentistry. He was also the Dental Director of three prison clinics for the State of Texas. Dr. Mike is excited about joining Dr. McAnaney at Lake Texoma Dental Care & Wellness and is looking forward to serving the community with his unique set of skills.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Mike has always strived to take care of patients to the best level humanly possible. He takes time with each patient to help discover, along with the patient, how he can help them achieve the goals they set together for their oral health. Dr. Mike believes in always learning and improving and bettering his knowledge and skills to offer each patient the best that dentistry can provide. Dr. Mike knows that all the decisions each patient makes in regards to their dental care is that patients final decision, but he will use his many years of advanced education and training to be your personal advisor and let you know how he can help.

Interests

Dr. Mike enjoys playing guitar, bowling, watching college football, watching his favorite gameshow Jeopardy!, and spending time with his family. In fact, before college he received a bowling scholarship to the University of Wichita State, but ultimately declined it to pursue his dreams of becoming a dentist!
